As a single flutter of a butterfly wing is enough to cause a huge typhoon, all we need is a singlevoice of a passionate brave leader to be heard to cause massive positive changes in the world because a leader is a unique person who stands on the frontline for his/her people, country, and themselves to guide his/her subjects on the right path, and as AIESECers, we strongly believe that leadership is the essential solution to achieving world peace. That’s why the sole purpose of AIESEC is to achieve peace and fulfillment of humankind’s potential through leadership. AIESEC challenges the youth to come out of their comfort zone and provides opportunities to develop the leader within their selves – A leader who can impact the world positively while working as a team.
AIESEC prepares its members as value-driven leaders who guide their everyday life according to the values they have trained such as integrity, living diversity, participation, sustainability, excellence, and leadership to face the world and be better decision-makers during the crisis. When a youngster steps inside the AIESEC community they have provided with numerous opportunities such as exchange programs, work experiences, volunteering, and other events and activities organized that are both local and international to stand up, work on, and establish what he/she believes in and cares about.
The local and international platforms provide a chance to speak and raise their voice for the values and principles that define humankind. Especially the AIESEC’s exchange programs introduce diverse environments and facilitate the above-mentioned opportunities and cross-cultural understanding. AIESEC allows its members to unite in teams to design, support, and drive these cross-cultural, functional experiences and this leads our members to gain practical and worthwhile team experiences that help them to achieve their leadership potential. Together with AIESEC youngsters are trained to decide and stand up for what is right because a leader is a person who guides his/her subject on the right path.
Day by day our home Earth is being pushed to its edges by all the things happening around us. The world requires the right leaders who can get out of their comfort zones to bear the responsibility for their actions, be accountable and impact positively. The journey in AIESEC enables the individuals to self-reflect on their learnings, and outcomes of their actions, and realize personal as well as shared goals and changes that are needed to be achieved to make the world a better place for every living being. AIESEC provides the support system for young leaders to evolve themselves; use the lessons from their experiences to impact the world positively and encourage individuals to step forward to raise their voices to make the right things happen.
