Diriyata Diriyak was organized by project Heartbeat 11.0 from incoming global volunteer, AIESEC in University of Colombo with the soul purpose of uplifting the mentality of terminally ill patients and the condition of the infrastructure maintaining their well being. Partners were raised with the intentions of purchasing dry rations and medicines for patients with special requirements.
During the process, the Heartbeat organizing committee partnered up with T-Shirt Republic and raised money to help the cause. The contributions facilitated the progress of the project and helped fulfil the sustainable development goal.
The money raised with the help of the partners was put to good use. The cancer hospices in Matara and Anuradhapura received vital dry rations in the then trying time. A total of 50 patients were helped with these supplies and were given support for their unique medical requirements. The efforts of AIESEC and T-Shirt Republic made a brought joy to not only the 50 individuals but their families as well.
